Spot type
Normal (Car access at spot edge)
Altitude
1030m
Parking
Absolutely park at Les Reussilles train station (300m east of the spot), plenty of free spaces and a bakery for picnic. Never park along the cantonal road, snowplows and farmers have already been bothered with this!!!!
Always better to use public transportation, bus/train stop Les Reussilles is 300m to the east and request stop for the train "le pied d'or" is 150m across fields to the northwest of the bottom of the spot
Hazards
Some large groves are scattered throughout the spot. Some fence stakes too
RAILWAY crosses the spot through the middle, be especially careful if riding on the Gerinnes side as it is downwind.
On the Le Saucy side, at the top of the hill it can be much windier and turbulent in NNE conditions.
Wind specificities
Only the bise (north-easterly wind) enters well, slightly better in E than NE. The basin is sheltered if there's little wind and the top of the hill at the bottom of the spot is always better ventilated thanks to a venturi effect. If there's a black bise (N), go to the other side (not by jumping over ;) the railway tracks (place called Les Gerinnes). Compared to the Meteoblue forecasts for Les Reussilles, it always blows a few knots more
