A spot as we like them. Large and wide plateau (500m wide ;-) ) perched on the edge of the Col des Mosses. On both sides of the plateau there are mountain slopes that can be used for slope soaring. There is also the possibility to take the ski lift.
From Aigle, go up to the Col des Mosses, after passing the village continue for another 500 m and park in one of the large Arsat parking lots, on the left or right. Don't go all the way to La Lécherette, you would be too far.
In winter the road is closed, it's a cross-country ski trail. Access is by hiking (skins, snowshoes, etc.) via a small mountain road or via the ski slopes from the Arsat parking lot, one-way ascent price 4 CHF (Info 2025)
Spot type
Freeride (Ski touring access)
Altitude
1650m

Hazards
Stay on the Col des Mosses side. There is a cross-country ski trail that passes along the edges of the spot. So don't ride on their tracks and everything will be fine.
There may be terrain effects on the edges of the spot, caution is advised.
Wind specificities
Works with south-west wind, the wind needs to be well aligned with the axis, otherwise it's very irregular
