Las Conchas Point is a spot located southeast of Puerto Peñasco in Sonora, on the Gulf of California. Northwest winds blow consistently on an open body of water with sandy bottom. The significant tides in the area create currents that need to be taken into account, but also offer vast flat water zones at high tide.
