Overview

Kettle Point is on the southeast coast of Lake Huron, on the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation reserve. The spot faces northwest with good fetch across the lake. The name comes from unique spherical rock formations (kettles) found on the beach. Remarkable geological site. Respect the First Nations community.

Lake Huron fresh water. Flat to choppy. Sandy bottom with rock formations. Good fetch from the NW. Warm water in summer (18-22°C). Progressive depth.
