Overview

Kugelbake at Cuxhaven is a well-known North Sea kitespot with shallow water (200m) and a sandy beach. Famous for the passing cargo ships on the Elbe estuary. Best time: 3 hours after low tide for a 6-hour kite window. Best winds: N, NE, E, SE. Schools: Cuxkite. Year-round accessible, with April–October being peak season.
