Overview

Very small pebble beach, close to the nautical center Altitude 1004

Spot open all year round but you will find campers and barbecues... in summer

The spot is not very large, and it is shared between the nautical base on the left and the kite spot on the right.

The spot is surrounded by trees, so you need to unroll your lines in the forest and launch your kite from the lake side...

Parking

Access: On the L'Abbaye - Le Brassus road, look for the Altitude 1004 sign on the lake side, in the middle of Les Bioux village. The road goes down to the lake starting on the right.

Hazards

Trees at the edge of the area!

Technical launch, trees downwind, lines in the forest... Ask for a demonstration!

Warning: ornithological reserve area where navigation is forbidden throughout the western part of the lake!

Do not let yourself drift downwind below the line between Pointe de la Crique - Petite digue du Rocheray...

Wind specificities

Works very well with bise (North East).
For South West wind, prefer the spots at the other end of the lake

Generally speaking, wind is rarely consistent...that's the valley ;-)
