Cap Taferit is a remote spot on the Mauritanian coast, south of Nouadhibou, near the Banc d'Arguin National Park (UNESCO). A very long sandy bay with choppy water and small waves. Lots of space, completely deserted — only some tents further behind the beach. Hard rocks at the southern end. Always sunny and warm.
Extremely remote and wild — pure adventure kite territory. Near the Imraguen fishing communities who still use traditional sailboats. Extraordinary birdlife.

NW to NE trade wind. 12-25 knots. Consistent along the Mauritanian coast. The Banc d'Arguin area channels wind effectively.
