La Savonnière beach is a huge grassy beach shaded by numerous trees. During the summer period, the parking and access to the beach is paid and the beach is very heavily frequented by swimmers. Therefore, it is absolutely forbidden to navigate during this period. Off-season, however, it's a nice spot for the 'bise' wind, located directly across from Versoix.
2023 update: The municipality does not oppose the practice of kitesurfing / wing and neither does the lake police. Join the local association for the defense of Geneva spots -> La W.A.G.
