Bise wind spot for experienced kiters. Open all year round, limited on good weather days by beach attendants. In summary, a spot open all year where common sense prevails for cohabitation with other beach users; but difficult to access and reserved for experienced riders.

Spot functioning
Launching is difficult. There is little space, many wind shadows and trees everywhere. Two possibilities:
Either have someone go far into the water with your kite while you stand in the water
Or place everything in the water and let yourself drift offshore before launching. Avoid launching at the beginning of the beach where there is indeed more space, but kites regularly end up in trees and dangerous situations occur. For foilers: shallow water throughout the area directly upwind of the beach (approx. 50m from shore).

Wind specificities
Side / Side-off wind. In case of trouble, the wind makes you drift along the beach when it's more easterly, pushing you toward Gland, where there are private properties and not really any place to exit except for the "beach" pier. When the wind is more northerly, it pulls you offshore. Not recommended in this case. It is also very gusty.
