The wide bay of Goulien is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Crozon peninsula
Very good wave spot, especially from late October to late January when autumn depressions hit the tip of Finistère.
The waves are not very hollow or powerful, but they can reach 4-5m during the biggest storms, so caution is still needed.
No notable current.
The rest of the year, the bay is much calmer, more suited for freeride and freestyle, but you'll have to deal with the influx of swimmers and beachgoers.
Also note that in summer there are many red algae that make foiling very problematic, with launching sometimes almost impossible for the first 100 meters.
3 possible parking areas: Goulien, Kersiguenou, Kerlo'ch - choose depending on wind direction and the number of surfers in the water.
