What a year my ancestors!!
If I had to summarize 2020, from Let's Kite's point of view, for me it's been an explosion! The project has greatly gained visibility, credibility, and traffic.
We first gradually had all the (kite-)shops that count in French-speaking Switzerland join the project, and I thank them again for their trust! I also thank the Kitesurfer Association for their support! And all of you who donated in 2020, it always helps me a lot to move the project forward!
In 2020, we also placed our first beacons and with success! Of course, there were a few friction points, but I remain convinced that with dialogue we can overcome anything. A beacon is for riders to consult, but it's also a good way to convey information. For 2021, we already plan to place a beacon in La Neuveville, as well as in Versoix (if the authorization ends up being accepted). My initial idea remains, one spot... one beacon, it's the only way on our lakes to have visibility of the real conditions when you don't work 100m from the lake or don't do 50 km to check the conditions.
